Is this movie the true origin of the quote "I'm getting too old for this sh*t." seen so often in Lethal Weapon by Danny Glover? Or is there an earlier example?

I'm thinking maybe you're right. I've never seen it earlier than in The Hunter, but maybe it is a pretty popular saying anyways by aging people getting overwhelmed at any job :)

I reckon they may have gotten that famous line from this film. or just a coincidence. who knows
