why would he kill her friends??

I have seen this movie half a dozen times mostly as a kid. I was watching it the other day as a reasonable 33 year old and I thought of something....
He killed brideds-to-be,right? Well then why was he killing all of the main charactors friends????
I mean...first up he kills the dressmaker in the wedding shop. I thought he was hiding in the dresses and HAD to kill the guy wcuz he saw him. That one made sense.
But then he follows one of the main charctors friends to her Professors house and kills them. WHY?????
Some of the murders you can say he killed the person by accident while trying to kill her...but not the girl and the Professor.

Well, as it's a slasher flick, the killer needed many victims.

"Hate is baggage, life's too short to be pissed off all the time".

That's typical in slasher movies. While the man was targeting brides-to-be, he wasn't necessarily above killing anyone else. In slasher films, even when a killer stalks a particular type of person, he wouldn't hesitate to kill other people as well. I mean, Jason usually targets teenagers, but he wasn't above killing adults.

I think that he was killing her friends because they were what he would deem slutty. Especially the one with the prof. as she was tempting him to cheat on his wife. The killer felt he had been cheated on, so knew how awful that felt. Her other friend also allowed herself to be picked up by a random guy in the woods no less, so he probably felt she was promiscuous. That's just the way I looked at it anyway.
