This is the kind of 80's horror that would do well as a remake.

I think that they are planning on remaking it, however it's just a rumour I've heard. It might be good, but who knows.

What for? Just rent the original and enjoy it. This remake crap needs to be outlawed.

Has anyone noticed that the new trend in "remakes" seems to have little to do with the original film beyond title and concept? Such as Prom Night and Death Race...

So if they remake this one, I doubt it will resemble this at all, beyond the title and "young single/engaged women targeted by psycho."

I've heard that this, Motel Hell and a ton of forgotten 80's slashers are
being remade....
