I hope they remake the film or make a sequel soon.I love this movie.

I think Tom Hanks should either play the killer or the guy who's trying to win the girl over again.

Remake is quite possible, personally Tom Hanks is probably keeping it known these days. And if there is a remake, I doubt Hanks will appear, unless he's seriously desperate, or maybe the "remake" is more psychological thriller, like he does these days.

I've heard Tom Hanks is a pretty good guy. Even on the commentary for this movie the director talks about how he saw Hanks at some premiere or something and Hanks came up to HIM to talk to him about the movie. I'm sure if they remade it and asked Hanks (if he was free) he'd make a cameo or something.

They also showed some clips from He Knows You're Alone during his episode of Inside the Actor's Studio, and one of the actresses from the film was in the audience that night. He seemed pretty good-natured about it!

Pretty much every horror film of the past 30 years, good or otherwise (I consider this the latter), is a candidate for the remake/"reimagining" treatment. If nothing else, this film has a killer title and opens the door to imaginatively titled sequels: "He Still Knows You're Alone," "He Knows You're Still Alone," "He Still Knows You're Still Alone," "What Part of 'He Knows You're Alone' Don't You Understand?"

It's definitely time for another Oscar-worthy horror film because it's been too long since a "Silence of the Lambs"-type film. But I think it would have to be more original than a remake of something that wasn't original to begin with.
