The biggest 'Halloween' clone of them all!

This movie was really the biggest "ripoff" of "Halloween" that there was. The music and stalking shots were clearly ripped straight out of the film and altered.

Although, I still liked this movie when I saw it, and still think it was one of the better ripoffs that there was. This movie ripped off "Halloween" way moreso than "F13" did imo.

"F13" had a stalking storyline and heightened violence. Conversely, this film nearly ripped off its shots and soundtrack.

I agree that some scenes mirrored scenes from Halloween. The two that I found most similar were 1) the main character walking alone (in the daytime) down the sidewalk after parting with her two friends and 2)when the killer was stalking the main character (towards the end of the film - at night) after she ran from the house to her car - it was the way the house looked in the dark that made me think Halloween.

Joey: Want some jam?
Chandler: No thanks, I just had a jar of mustard.

I did notice a handful of scenes that were very similar to Halloween.

In saying that though this film does it's own thing and isn't a complete cash grab rip-off. It's a great early slasher. They just took a few pointers for framing shots and tension building.
