I love "Foxes" and have watched it more times than I'd want to admit.
Unfortunatly it doesn't seem to get talked about much, so i was stoked when i heard it mentioned on the commentary tracks of 2 other dvds recently. (Why "Foxes" does not have a commentary letalone a 3 disc Criterion special edition is beyond me.lol)
Anyway on the "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" commentary the director says that Drew Barrymore's hair in the stake out scene at the beach was modeled after Cherie Currie's hair in "Foxes" and on the "50 First Dates" dvd commentary Drew says she wore the name badge "Annie" in that scene in homage to Cherie's character.

Wow, that's interesting re: Drew's little homage. I loathed Angels II so I I'm glad you posted it, I would have never known this otherwise.

And to think it could have been Rosanna Arquette or Kristy McNichol in the part ! Yikes ! Kristy was great in Little Darlings, but as Annie ? That would have been one bozo no-no !

Hal-Raglan--Thanks for the bit of very cool trivia. And you don't have to be ashamed of admitting your love for this gem. A few of Adrian Lyne movies are the sort that need to be revisited every so often, after all they are sooo beautiful to look at;)
