I'm not sure if I saw this movie or not. Does this movie have the song "My Best Friends Girl" by The Cars in it? Back when I was a little kid, I remember watching some movie with a bunch of young teenagers. Don't remember the plot or anything, but the only part that sticks out is the song "My Best Friends Girl" by The Cars. If this is not the movie, does anyone know the movie I'm talking about? Thanks!

I think the movie you mean is Last American Virgin from 1982. Hope this helps.

I know for sure it's not "The Last American Virgin." That's one of my all time favorites! There's lots of great 80's music in that film. I know "Shake It Up" by The Cars is in that film. Thanks for helping though. I appreciate it!

The song that is played over and over in this movie is Donna Summer's "On the Radio"

I think you are talking about the movie "over the edge" it was Matt Dillons first movie,and it was about a whole bunch of kids.

Over the Edge had a song by the Cars, but it was "Just What I Needed".
