Do you believe that the skateboard stunts and chases in this movie inspired "Back To The Future"? Example: A skateboarder being chased by bullies in a car and causes them to get into a accident.

Skateboarding was wery popular in the 80's. I don't think the two movies were relate in this, just the use of skateboard was wery common at time.
shareI totally agree. You'll see this again with the resurgence of skateboarding again, that the 2 movies are probably in no way related.

I see this topic went dead years ago but I just had the need to bring it back up. I am a huge fan of Back To The Future, and last night was the first time I ever watched Foxes, unless I had a total memory failure from back then until now.
I was in awe when I watched the skateboard scene.
Now I know skateboarding was very popular back then but the way it was played out was strikingly the same as BTTF, or I shall say vise versa being that Foxes came out a few years before BTTF.
I just can't recall seeing other movies with a similar scene, so I do feel that Foxes did inspire it.
I believe it adds up!
