90% of this movie's LOVE is the SETTING and the ERA.


It really struggles with : pacing, realism, script , and overall tone.
It COULD have had Linda Blair in it with a machete and a rifle-- as if it set out to be exploitive --then took another turn into teen soap opera.
The movie has no back-bone other than "friends are good" I guess?
I wanted to see more of Annie's life and back story . Oh well ...........
I also think "Bert" ("wife" in creepy duo in car) was a transgender ? Has this been touched upon ?

I don't think so, it was probably short for Roberta or something. I thought she kind of looked like Raquel Welch though.
