reference
I am unsure if this was mentioned yet.
Has anyone on this post ever heard/read the novel series Mack Bolan (The Executioner)? It is a novel series that came from the early seventies and are still being written today about a soldier from Vietnam being called home to bury his family after they were murdered by the mob. He exacts revenge on the mafia throughout the novel series (and everyone else). I read that the character of Mack Bolan supposedly inspired The Punisher comic series. Some may argue that. They unfortunately never made a film series about the Executioner.
Anyways, my point is that I am watching this movie The Exterminator at the moment and just came across a very funny scene with the older detective on the phone with the lady while he was cooking his hot dog. While on the phone they were discussing the vigilante may be from the army becasue of the M-16 that was found. When the detective was going to say The Exterminator, he started off saying The Executioner but stopped in mid sentence to correct himself. I am not sure if this was a real bad goof or if it was meant to be in the movie to reference The Executioner, since this movie is VERY similiar to the early Mack Bolan novel series.
Did anyone else notice this reference or mistake??
