Wouldn't it be cool if they did make part 3 with another actor playing John Eastland in he's more senior years. I can think of a dozen actors who would be suitable such as Robert Forster, Gene Hackman, Robert De Niro, Al Pacino or even Stallone. RIP Robert Ginty.

It could have been an excellent franchise if the sequel was any good. I would have enjoyed four sequels, but never to be.

Maybe time for a "woke" reboot that isn't actually "woke" at all.
