I cant believe that there is so much interest about "The Earthling" I remember seeing it at the Village cinema and being disappointed that jack Thompson was hardly in it at all...now I am reading these posts and am discovering that there was a different version of the film floating around with extra scenes etc...I want to see it again now, maybe i will like it.

I can't imagine how much more Jack Thompson there could have been in it. His character and the mother were there to simply be annoying and then die. That was pretty much it.
