I agree, this is one of her most beautiful songs. I was a DJ at the time this movie was released and they sent us 12 45rpm promo copies of the song, exactly as it is in the movie, in beautiful stereo, and it was never released to the public. I still have them.

Been looking for a copy of this song, ever since I caught the movie on cable years ago. Wasn't aware, and quick enough, to buy Maureen McGovern's CD "Works of Heart" (that contains the song) before it was completely sold out on her site. Amazon has a copy for $50, a little steep for me. Would you sell one of your 12 copies?

neighturboy You didn't miss out very much on the CD. The version on Maureen's CD is completely different from the movie version. The arrangements were changed (strings are gone-mainly piano...sadly) and she sang it differently. In my opinion, the CD version does not compare at all to the movie version, which I think is her most beautiful song. Let me dig these out and see the condition. They were all un-used and I remember the company that released them used better cinyl pressings (where the edges were actually pressed, not those cheap breakable 45's).

I have been meaning to get them out as I want to make a CD of her greatest hits, using the 45 WE COULD HAVE IT ALL from Last Married Couple in America and songs from here "Academy Award Winning: LP, all of which sadly never made it to CD.

My email is [email protected]. Best to contact me there and I will respond. Rob
