When Donald's Mother passes away of natural causes he keeps her body and since the film lasts 7-10 days in real time the decaying corpse must surely begin to reek. (The other 3 bodies have been burnt to a crisp so they probably won't smell as bad).
Despite this none of the girls that enter the house seem to pick up on it. Can anyone suggest why.

crispy fried bodies would smell very horrible
because in reality they would notice a horrible smell and wouldnt go in

Hmm maybe but I think a pre-barbequed corpse would smell worse because the bacteria would have more work to do and therefore create more waste gas etc..
