Just got the DVD
I always liked The Dogs of War...but it is WAY better when its not cut up for TV. No DVD extras (except the trailer) but it give a much better story.

Agreed. I had the shortened VHS version before I bought the DVD. It was a pleasure to see the movie restored for the DVD release.
