Crap, the UK DVD is only 100 minutes long

OK,

While the UK DVD is cheap like 5 US$s, its cut by 18 minutes when compared to the US version.

OK tradeoff:

UK DVD: Great visual, PAL version is significantly better than the NTSC version. Better definition. However its cut by 18 minutes(missing the baptismal scene along with a few more later).

NTSC DVD: Poorer visual but more complete film.

the bbfc states its cut but not by 18 minutes, a little less than that when the 4% has been taken into account for the film speed.
