Gotta love it. Silly but fun.

Too campy for words! gotta give it at least a 4 or 5 for all the double entendres they say in this film. Last thing Nancy Walker directed. most people will remember her for being Rhoda's mom on Mary Tyler Moore, or the deaf maid in "Murder By Death".

For a laugh, read the bio on writer/produer Allan Carr. some funny stuff in there. He managed some biggies, but for some reason apparently TURNED DOWN Barry Manilow & Julio Iglesias (!) what was he thinking ?

anyhoo.. they never say the G word, (Love Felipe the indian strutting around in his naughty little shorts) but the band and the film were both from a different time. Extra credit to Jack Weston (Gotta see him in The Ritz) and Bruce Jenner for making this one. Shown on FLIX channel.... They DID show the naughty shower room scene and the milk commercial.

Updated 2016: have had several people ask if this is avail on dvd.. YES! totally available on amazon.com.. the good quality, (legal) version i bought can only be played on a PLAY ONLY device. warner brothers and some others are doing this to cut down on the unauth copying.

For some reason, TCM.com only has a REGION 4 PAL version (??)
