I saw it on Flix again for the first time in years. I first saw it on ABC in 1984, and actually liked it (I was a kid so cut me some slack). Now I think it is embarrasingly bad. Bad acting (it probably has some of the worst lines ever), bad music (I like the Village People, but some of the songs that are in the film are Eurovision Song Contest bad lol), and bad writing. But somehow I am uncontrollably drawn to its badness. I think even Nancy Walker knew she was making a dud.
typical bad 70's movie. these people are my generation. we knew it was terrible then and now it looks even worse. but it is a great history of that time. so kids this is what your parents did in the 70's.
Yeah, it was on SHOWTIME this past Sunday morning and it has not improved with age...it hasn't even gained any kitsch or cheese appeal...it's just a ridiculously terrible movie on all levels. What was Nancy Walker thinking?
