1) There's an elderly woman in a green jacket who smacks Steve G (during the opening credits) and later Tammy Grimes (as she exits a taxi backside-first) across their butts with a French roll. What was this about?

2) The Tim-Curry-lookalike lady who runs the modeling agency spends an inordinate amount of time in a phone booth with her finger stuck in the dial. What was this about?

3) Here are the obvious product placements:

Dr. Pepper
Baskin-Robbins
Izod polo shirts (does Steve G wear anything else?)

Are there any others that I've missed? (Just trying to determine how much of a whore Allan Carr was)

I've always had an opinion that bread wielding lady was actually director Nancy Walker doing a uncredited cameo appearance.

Ummmm...Comedy???
