Lot of good looking people in this film

There was a man in the beginning.
The actor who played the roman soldier who gets forced to drink wine and stabbed in the stomach............what a good looking man! He was very well muscled and well endowed. Such a stunningly good looking actor.
And the women were beautiful. Helen Mirren was statuesque and the actress who played Drusilla was adorable.
I also thought the actress who played Ennia looked like Liza Minelli.
Anyone else agree that this was a really good looking cast?

Couldn't agree more. Drusilla seemed like a cheerful young lady.

I wanna know too! Ever since I first saw CALIGULA I thought the actor who portrayed the drunk soldier was gorgeous (in all the right places).😁

Hi. The drunken sentry who was disemboweled? That was Donato Mercouri. I find no other credits for him and have not been able to learn anything about him at all.

The actress who played Drusilla is an English born European cult favorite named Teresa Ann Savoy. She is one of the most beautiful and sexiest young women to have ever graced the silver-screen although she is hardly known at all in the United States.

At the age of 16 she fled her home and lived in a Sicilian hippie commune which is where she was discovered. Her entire career existed of only 11 films as well as 8 TV movies or mini-series since the life-style of a famous movie actress was not her cup of tea. She also refused to do interviews with the press. All of her work was done in Europe which probably explains her virtual complete anonymity in the States.

She is best known for her role as Drusilla. She plays a leading role in another Tinto Brass project called "Salon Kitty" which was finally released on Blu-ray (Region A) in its uncut version in 2015. "Private Vices, Public Pleasures" is due for a Blu-ray release in the States in which Miss Savoy plays a hermaphrodite.

She is also well known in Europe for her film appearances in "Bambina" where she plays an emotionally-disturbed childlike sexually obsessed adolescent, and "The Tyrants Heart" where she plays the leading role in an historical drama.

None of her work is available on Blu-ray or DVD that this viewer is aware of with the exception of the Blu-rays already mentioned. The uncut version of "Caligula" is now going for $80.00 on Amazon.

Despite appearing in mostly art and "kinky" European films, adolescent friends recall her as a sweet and down-to-earth English girl. Viewers of "Salon Kitty" will notice just how "sweet" she appears to be.
