Very disappointed this isn't being offered on Blu-ray.
I'm disappointed too, but the DVD was reported to have been made from a 4k scan. I am guessing we will eventually either see a blu-ray or HD streaming.
shareYeah, I wish it were on BD, but Paramount has no plans (at least that's what they told me), which sucks and doesn't make sense. I'm sure it's a double-dipping scenario.
Even though the DVD is in its original mono, I would love it in 5.1, as well as the full screen presentation (I know it was presented theatrically in widescreen, but it's painfully obvious it was matted--it would be nice to have both).
I mentioned this in a separate post, but the HD version is available both on iTunes and VUDU. Yeah, I'd rather have a BD too, but this is still great.
