I assumed that, when they were thinking of the jokes, they realized that some of them couldn't work as well (or at all) without an adult speaking. You know, like when the gang is about to board the plane and they find out that SNOOPY has a first class ticket. Since Charles M. Schultz was part of the production, he aproved.
