The whole movie is about Instinct. They weren't taught by teachers about what hormones or puberty or sex was. as a male i'll tell you all this comes naturally, sex is not something we are taught, it comes naturally and is within us from a young age. I was having erections from as long as I remember[i'm talking 4-5 years old] and was having sexual fantasies from as young as 7-8 years old of adults I saw on tv or that I personally knew. It's perfectally natural for children to be sexually aware yet I still knew not to talk about it. Masturbation came later[at like age 13] and I taught myself how to do that, again it just comes naturally.

A girl from my class brought the movie one day in class and we watched it, not really knowing what the movie would be about.
