I was watching this the other day and missed the the final minutes because I had to leave for a wedding. Can someone please tell me how the movie ended? I left off with Burt Lancaster and Susan Sarandon in the hotel room watching the news after they leave Atlantic City. What did I miss?
shareShe takes some of the money perhaps most of it. He sees but doesn't let on. She says she's going for some pizza for breakfast. They parry back and forth then he says let's toss for it. He tosses the coin then says she won. He knows she wants to leave. I think she knows he knows. He reminds her to take the car keys and also reminds her that they should dump the car soon.
She drives off presumably to use the money to change her life...go to Monaco...?
He goes back to AC, gets Grace to sell the rest of the drugs for $1000. They stroll off arm and arm on the boardwalk.
Also, in case you missed that part...Grace sent the sister back to Canada.
