Gere's character wears what appears to be a yellow gold Piaget Protocole w/ a blue dial all throughout the movie but a friend says there's a shot in a scene in his apartment showing a drawer full of watches. I just watched the dvd release by Paramount but didn't see such a shot. Would anyone recall seeing that shot during its theatrical run or in any video version?

There's no such scene in the film, and trust me, I've seen the film many times.

I agree, that scene wasn't in the movie. I'm a watch fanatic and if there had been such a scene, I'd have noticed it.

was a shot of drawers full of neckties and shirts, yes.

Nope, no watches. I am oddly obsessed with high-end watches and would DEFINITELY have noticed this.
