I don't even think that jerry bruckheimer who produced this movie, ever thought in C.S.I.

Yeah, they couldn't do DNA profiling then. All they could have done was figure out whether he was the same blood type as the murderer.

shareThe film is from 1980 DNA evidence didn't come into practise until 1985!!! The first CSI type programme Quince didn't even have DNA profile in the programme!!! In those days police could only use finger prints and if any hair was found at a scene of the crime the could only go on the shade length and colour of a possibe murderer!!!
