my question should have read, what song is playing while HE selects his ties. the song is NOT on the soundtrack album/cd that was released. i think that it might be by smokey robinson, one of my faves. any assistance with this puzzling question would be greatly appreciated as i have a fun bet with someone over the outcome....thank you...

I heard it playing in the background yesterday in a coffee house, and it reminded me how great it was in the film, how dissappointing it was not to find it on the soundtrack and how frustrating it was for me not to know who sings it.
Julian K. picking out his shirt and tie and dancing to that song remains for this woman one of the most erotic scenes in film.
