I am excited to get this DVD, love the movie.

Unfortunately another crappy cover instead of the original poster art.

that cover really sucks.

Wonder what the extra features will include?

I know that they're gonna have the audio commentary from the UK version included.

And what is up with that cover? Makes it a look like one of those bad CGI straight-to-video creature features you see at Blockbuster.

Eh, normally I absolutely HATE the new covers old movies get, but at least in this case the original cover wasn't all that cool either. Sure, the clearly computer made, graphic arts B.S. looks lame, but it's really not THAT bad by comparison.

should have used the poster

yeah the new cover art is disgraceful!!!!!!!!

What is the marketing dept doing?!! That's the best they could come up with? Even the new tagline is *beep*!

YES, it is. The original artwork was creepy with the gator just squatting in that tunnel, waiting for its next victim to come along.

I just purchased the DVD for a mere ten bucks at a local Best Buy. It's an excellent quality widescreen presentation. The commentary by Lewis Teague and Robert Forster is quite enjoyable and fairly informative. The interview with screenwriter John Sayles is real nice, too. The only other extra is the cool original theatrical trailer.

I enjoy keeping busy. Satan finds work for idle hands.
