It should be made clear that this was not a case of plagiarism. ZAZ purchased the rights to "Zero Hour!" and used it as the basis for their spoof. They owned it and could treat it any way they wanted.

Zero hour probably was watched more after airplane than before. How could anyone take that film serious. It was asking to be spoofed.

Makers of Flying High/Airplane bought the rights to Zero Hour and set about taking the mickey out of it to maximum effect.

In the United States, spiofing something is covered under the law. No plagorism from a legal perpective.
