Breaker true story

While back in Australia Morant found himself down on his luck (as often happened)one Christmas morning with no money and no food. He always had a string of well trained horses and went down to the pub and and made a bet with a bunch of the patrons. He bet he could ride his horse at the rabbit proof in front of the pub that was about 5 feet high BLINDFOLDED, jump it, land in the road, and jump the rabbitproof on the other side. He collected his wagers and then proceeded to do it and won his bet. The reference in the movie about jumping a fence at night with candles on each side is one of many amazing things he did, and why he had the nickname, The Breaker.

Interesting info, thanks for sharing. I need to re-watch this movie, especially w/the passing of Edward Woodward. RIP
