Why wasn't this show called 'Booby Buddies?'

Doesn't "Booby Buddies" make more sense? What about the other terms for women's sexual body parts?

1. Boobs

2. Breasts

3. Tits

4. Ta-Ta's

5. Chee Chee's

6. Knockers

The show may have lasted a little longer if it was called "Booby Buddies". Not that many people refer to that part of a woman as a "Bosom" anymore.

Bosom buddies makes sense because it was already a very common expression before the show was ever created. Bosom in the original phrase "bosom buddies" does not necessarily pertain to breasts. It's just an expression to mean that two people are close friends. The two main characters in this tv show just happen to be close friends who pretend to have breasts from time-to-time

Many tv shows and movies use common expressions for their titles and they're often meant to be a "play on words" -- like "Full House" is a term used in poker, but means something else for the tv show title.

"Bosom" does mean close friends. For the title, it had a double meaning for close friends that pretended to have bosoms.

reply

Because they couldn't call it "Breast Friends".
