Great line at the end.

"Petty thief, hell. I'm the king of thieves. I'm the Jupiter of thieves."

To be sure, the ending really strained credibility, but I love the dialogue. The final confrontation, however corny, is still a guilty pleasure of mine.

Jeff Bridges is always a good actor, but he's upstaged big time in this film.

Jeff is upstaged here, but such is the fate of the only stable personality in a film full of loonies. Terrific, pulpy dialogue and action here, and Anthony Perkins' character is particularly memorable. And about that maid ...
