Maybe i just need to see it again...?

I watched this a couple months ago, and i just thought it was simply boring. Not in anyway better than Dawn of the Dead, not even NEAR as good. i just might have to give it a second chance??
And im a BIG zombie fan and Romero fan (Minus Diary), and i do like some of Lucio Fulcis films, but when people say Zombi is better then Dawn, really?
Come on...

so your saying i should give it another chance im guessing?
i see where your coming from but i need more backround and plot line to my zombie film, not just 90 minutes of random gore... thats only good when your hittin the devils lettuce.

Hi ronsdamnsure,

You Should give it another go,

I felt the same as you, until last week (it was on at a movie theatre near my house).

Great film, GREAT SOUNDTRACK, Awesome zombies. I think with the volume up and and on a nice clear t.v (a few beers),you will learn to love this film as I have come to.

Have watched (my newly owned) DVD 2 times since :)

So? What happened? Did you get to like it better?

I'm asking because I felt the same way you did after watching it for the first time (which was like a week ago). Expected much better and more plot.

I always loved Zombie(2) but i did see it when i was 8 years old. Romero's Dawn is still my all time fav of zombie flicks but Zombie(2) is my 2nd fav. Give it another shot you might enjoy it the 2nd time. Check this out my girl hates horror movie and when we watched Dawn of the Dead she didnt care for it to much, few days ago we watched Zombie(2) and she actually liked it alot more than Dawn. Go figure.

I agree with the person who said that comparing the two is pointless... "Zombi 2" is a "horror film". "Dawn" is more than a horror film... with superior FX and a much better script. Maybe what hurt "zombi" was the translation.... I've seen Fulci's film 6 times and am still bored by a good bit of the dialog and some of the more drawn out scenes... I don't hate it, but it doesn't move me like "Dawn" does... "Dawn" is a movie that is sooooo much more than horror, more than zombies, and more than commentary..
