You really shouldn't let that judge whether or not you see the film.
It's a great seventies slasher movie, plus we get a young Tanya Roberts who sports a tube top throughout the whole movie. But, besides that, it's really quite good.
I think Schmoeller said in the commentary that he was too inexperienced and shy to ask the actresses to do nudity even though the script called for it. There is a skinny-dipping scene near the beginning and it looks like the actresses might actually be topless but you don't see any breast shots. Schmoeller probably would have gotten the R rating he was seeking if he'd just had that one nude scene.
I remember that in the commentary as well.. lol. The director sounds extremely understanding by Hollywood standards. In the end, nudity would not have really helped or hurt the film either way (except maybe to give the film an 'R' rating, which might have helped it at the horror box office).
All the ladies doffed their clothing in other movies, though. So if you look around for their other films, you'll find a little skin to be had. TOURIST TRAP is worth watching for the scary thrills, not the other kind.
