I heard the MPAA said this movie contains the 'most disturbing scene ever put on film'. I find this a little hard to believe seeing as how this came out in 1979 but did they really say that at the time? If so, what scene were they referring to?
shareI don't really think MPAA ever said that. For one, they rated it PG. Unless maybe later they changed their minds, the most disturbing scene is probably either when the girl is covered in plaster, or when Woody is at the gas station.

as for the garage scene that was weird
I wondered what was going off
i must say, one of my all-time favorite films.

the whole thing is one big mind trip.
