Considering a remake just on who looks or acts exactly the main characters...

Molly - Amanda Seyfried
Becky - Megan Fox
Jerry - Ryan Reynolds

This film doesn't need a remake; it's fine the way it is.

I love the idea of Amanda Seyfried as Molly. She'd be perfect. I think Kristin Kreuk could play Eileen and as you mention maybe Megan Fox as Becky. I think Owen Wilson would be good as Woody, and Jared Padalecki as Jerry. As far as Mr. Slausen, maybe somebody like John Goodman even though he's significantly bigger than Chuck Connors. John has played a lot of dark roles and could play it effectively I think.

Anyway, I love the original as is, but if it was remade it's interesting to think of who would be cast.
