that there was an extended scene during the t.v. broadcast where HG sits down at MacDonald's and spits out his tea, screaming that it's awful. Anyone else recall this?

Yes i saw this scene on a movie channel a few years back, i think the channel was TMC.

That at the end, after Herbert and Amy disappear in the machine, we see a photo of them both back in 1893 on the wall of the exhibit in the museum.
