Weird how the brain works

I'm watching step brothers and thinking about Mary S.

Funny how your brain will take a moment and file it away so it plays back perfectly even decades later. Not even a great moment. Just a random thing. I have a perfect memory of going to see Time after Time in the theater. As a result the movie looks both dated and contemporary. That'll do, brain.

Good movie, great casting. Check it out.

I think thats a testament to how much you like the film. I know for me films that I still recall years or decades later are usually among my favorites. I loved Time After Time as well.

Glad to hear it. It does walk a very nice line between humor and a sense of menace. This was Nicholas Meyers first directorial effort. He followed this up with Star Trek:The Wrath of Khan. Not bad for your first two directorial features.

How do you know Mary Steenburgen first from Step Brothers and not Back to the Future 3?? I thought everyone on the planet had seen the BttF trilogy...
