hi just saw the movie but can't find Shelley Hack in it. she is credited as Docent but can't seem to see her. could anyone help ?

Yes..in the director's commentary on the DVD..he mentions that Shelley Hack is the voice you hear in the museum when HG first arrives in San Fran.

so basically she doesn't appear in the movie ? she is just a voice ? thanks for the info :-)

She is in the actual scene, but you only hear her voice. Like most of the museum guests, her face didn't actually make the cut. What surprised me was that the boy in the museum is Corey Feldman! Talk about young actor's first time out!

I can see why she was chosen to play a museum guide giving out historic information. Hack went to some Ivy Legue college (Brown?) and sounds very educated.
