Robby The Robot?
There is a rumor that Robby the Robot from FORBIDDEN PLANET is in TIME AFTER TIME . Either in H.G's lab in the beginning of the film or in the museum when HG arrives in 1979 . Anyone see Robby
shareI think you are talking about a scene in "Gremlins" - there is a scene with the dad at a Inventors Convention talking to his son on a pay phone - in the background Robbie the Robot is walking around and Steven Speilberg doing a cameo is sitting in the Time Machine. The camera cuts away and comes back and the Time Machine is gone and there is some smoke remaining where the Time Machine once was -
I remember that scene in Gremlins, it was really funny. A nice surprise!
shareHe was also in "The Invisible Boy" which I believe is supposed to be set sometime after "Forbidden Planet." Somehow he gets from the future to what was then the present where a young boy puts his parts back together.
