since the identity of JTR has finally been uncovered I expect a slew of Ripper movies soon. so TAT is bound to be remade (actually one of the few movies that could benefit from an remake/update IMO)

yeah I know pearce/Irons were in The Time Machine remake but I could totally see them in those parts

I think the identity of the Ripper has been revealed almost every year since I've been alive. It's always someone different. Is this one supposed to be more accurate somehow?

turns out the new identity was one of the old suspects (Polish immigrant named Aaron Kosminski) and the theory has been dismissed more quickly than the others
