If anyone would be interested in a forgotten TV miniseries
that whimsically dramatized some of Wells' stories, check out
The Infinite Worlds of H.G. Wells (2001).

It is currently available free on Hulu in the U.S.:

The episode segments vary in quality,
but at least one of them is very good IMO.
