My random favorite parts: [spoilers]

1. The fancy "shooting pink laser out of eyes" hero's name is.... Simon

2. Gold torpedoes (or was it manned vessels?) have a straight trajectory
through space, yet plunks in through windows as if they were thrown

3. Only and best solution is to fool the bad guy to think they are dead,
is to blow up their entire planet

I thought the best part of the movie was at 1:08 when the name of the ship flashed by. 'Murray leinster'. Perfect! I wonder how many even got the connection.
