I don't recognize the bottle, but it's always the same.

It's supposed to be Southern Comfort, Joplin's drink but its clear and I think it says Cutty Sark. But can't tell.

Vodka? That's what I always thought.

That would make the most sense. Vodka=water when you're drinking in a movie! :)

I think it's gin. Gin is clear and usually comes in a green bottle. Gin is a pretty nasty liquor that a lot of drunks can just guzzle down straight. Just my opinion. ?

Aquavit--Norwegian anise-flavored liquor-VERY potent! You can find the reference in the book.
