The book came out the same year as the movie--very hard to find, but I think this is the link to several copies of varying degree of price/condition: http://product.half.ebay.com/The-Rose-1979-Hardcover/1429698&tg=info#moredetails and there is also a movie book, mostly photos, but some writing as well.
