I love this movie!...just saw it on cable..I've seen it a few times before, but it had been a few years and I forgot how good this movie is.
I was wondering if the movie was based on a book? Any info would be much appreciated!

shareI have the book but Bette is on the cover so I think the book was written after the movie. Plus the book is exactly like the movie.
The book came out as the movie did, pretty much. Same as the movie, except you get a LOT more detail about her upbringing, her background, and what made her like she was--fast read for me, one day, but I've read it many times. HARD to find, though!
