Did Anyone Go To A Rock 'n' Roll High School?

Did anyone go to a rock and roll high school? I think I did. I attended high school in the '80s. Almost everyone in my high school was really into rock and roll music. Almost everyone bought albums and attended concerts. There were cliques, of course. And most people rolled with their own. But almost everyone loved rock and roll. It might have been the only thing that united us. The school sucked. Most of the teachers were complete douche bags. Their idea of teaching was trying to scare us with lies and threats. And they loved telling us how lucky and spoiled we were.

I think high school is a lot different now. The kids are more into video games, social media, etc.. High schools have become very strict. When my niece attended high school they had the kids under lock down. The administration didn't actually care about the students. It was all about the liability. I am glad I grew up when I did. I liked riding my bike and doing my own thing without constant adult supervision. Too many young people of today can't take a dump without texting mommy, daddy and/or their friends about it.
