I always hear everyone saying Return of the King is the best in the trilogy. I disagree. This was a mess. Why would they jump from live action to animated mid trilogy? How the hell did this win 11 Oscars? Beats me. The academy is a bunch of old crazy hicks.
sharePeter Jackson was out of his mind when he made this, I feel like this movie and Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) and Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002) aren't even a part of the same franchise, just a serious drop in quality.

This didn't win a single Academy Award. Hell, it wasn't even nominated (mostly due to it being a made-for-tv cartoon).
