I have heard of a sequel (over twitter) what is your thought on it being made. I think it would spoil the great film the orignal was. I heard it was to revisit jimmy in the 70's and focus on the music in the time. Franc roddam states that it will be in the hands of someone else...

The original actors are just too old for a sequel.

The story is so inexorably tied to the album and the music, it'd be impossible.
