For a film less than 90 minutes, this was really good.

Wholly original, and so many plus points. The practical and special effects, the attire, acting and the horror and creepy elements all give this an 80's movie feel. I guess it was slightly ahead of it's time.

The Tall Man was quite creepy, and his demise was surprising. Maybe they were setting up for a sequel.

Definitely worth the watch.

Yep, good late 70s drive in flick.

Well, I think it was late 70s - definitely saw it at a drive in when a boy.

I remember seeing Phantasm as a kid back in the late 70s.

It was unlike any horror movie we had ever seen- and this was a good thing!

I love the overall atmosphere of Phantasm. A great popcorn movie for a rainy fall night!
